WHO I AM
Adagio is a home blood pressure log for iPhone, published by Leung Yiu Chun, an individual, as the seller of the app on the Apple App Store. I am in Hong Kong.
WHAT ADAGIO IS (AND IS NOT)
Adagio lets you type blood pressure readings and a daily check-in, see them in a journal, and share a PDF with a clinician. It does not measure blood pressure. It does not diagnose or treat. It is not a medical device. Labels such as in range, elevated, or high are descriptive, not a diagnosis. If a reading is very high, Adagio shows an on-screen interrupt and tells you to use the Phone app or Emergency SOS. Adagio does not place a call and does not use your location. Adagio is for adults (18+).
WHAT STAYS ON YOUR IPHONE
There is no Adagio account and no Adagio server for your log. I do not receive your readings. On the phone, Adagio may keep an optional name, optional notes for your doctor, readings (time, systolic and diastolic, optional pulse, place, position, and whether a high-reading interrupt was acknowledged), daily check-ins, and last PDF include choices. This version has no camera, no photos, no HealthKit, no Bluetooth cuff, no ads, and no analytics in the app.
WHAT I DO NOT DO
I do not sell or share your log. I do not use it for advertising or research recruitment. I do not run Firebase, ads networks, or a health cloud.
FILES YOU CHOOSE TO SHARE
Doctor PDF and Export log create files on your phone. You then pick where they go (Mail, Files, AirDrop, a printer). Whoever you send them to is then responsible for that copy. If you save a file to iCloud Drive, that copy lives in iCloud under Apple’s rules. The live log inside Adagio is separate.
BACKUP AND APPLE
The live log is stored on your iPhone. It is excluded from iCloud Backup. Restoring a new phone from iCloud Backup does not restore the log. Export a file before you erase the phone if you want a copy. Apple operates the App Store and payment. Crash reports Apple may provide are diagnostic stack traces, not your blood pressure log. That is not a medical-device or HIPAA claim.
DELETION
In Adagio: Settings → Delete all data. Or delete the app. Either way the log on that phone is gone. I cannot delete a PDF or JSON you already sent to someone else or saved in iCloud Drive.
